MyNDTALK- St. Jude's Project - Catholic Charities – Kimberly Washington

When someone receives a diagnosis such as Huntington's Disease or another life-limiting illness - individual and family lives can change. How is the transition from one view of self to another managed? Enter Kimberly Washington, Lead Social Worker/Manager of the St. Jude's Project. The project supports patients and their families through the difficult decisions and emotions related to prolonged life-limiting illness. Under Kimberly's guidance along with the assistance of 4 much appreciated interns, clients are also assisted with the coordination of medical care, legal advice, as well as many other day-to-day community supports.
