ONE MAGNIFICENT LIFE
(OML - MyNDTALK)
MyNDTALK "Making It Make Sense" (SM) with Dr. Pamela Brewer has begun a new segment which launched April 18, 2008 and is scheduled to air 3pm - 4 pm every 3rd Friday of the month.
This new segment, "ONE MAGNIFICENT LIFE" will be an intimate look into the life of one person who has lived and experienced some piece of life and is willing to share the experience with the MyNDTALK audience.
You are invited to suggest a person(s) you know (including yourself) who has had an experience you believe should be shared. We are not looking for "big" names or people who have accomplished "spectacular" feats. While such persons will certainly be considered - we are hoping to highlight individuals "everyday folk" who are willing to talk about their "everyday" lives and share their everyday wisdom.
Interviews will either be live or prerecorded - live to tape. If you or someone you know is interested, please send the name, telephone number and email address. MyNDTALK@aol.com
Potential guests should be at least 18 years old, if working with a mental health professional the decision to apply for an appearance on the program should be thoroughly discussed prior to doing so. The program format will be an interview with Dr. Brewer and will include questions about the years as a child, social and educational experiences, the "event" around which the discussion will eventually center, resources (books, people, etc.) the interviewee accessed to address the issue.
Guests will receive a copy of the program after the first air date.
The goal of this segment is to remind us all that no matter how "great" or "small" we are, we are unique and alike, we are not alone - we are powerful! We are magnificent.
