"Making It Make Sense" (SM) with Dr. Pamela Brewer
SIGNS THE RELATIONSHIP MIGHT BE
DRIFTING AWAY
by Pamela Brewer, MSW, Ph.D., LCSW-C
Sometimes it is hard to know that your relationship is faltering. Often you would rather it not and so you allow yourself to ignore what you see. Below are excerpts from 365 (+31!) Daily Necessities - A LifeBook for Relationship Success. As you read each one, think about whether you are reminded of your relationship. If you are - is it time to have a talk with your partner, possibly consider individual or couple counseling?
If you or your partner are always at a loss for words...there is too much not being said...maybe you should lose the relationship as it is...
Until you can relate better to yourself.

(DAY 293)

That is sad.
(DAY 326)

When you have to hide your feelings from your partner...a better idea is to hide your partner from you...
(DAY 266)
****
When your relationship has an explosion...
Try not to make it an implosion that leaves you feeling stuck...
And destroyed...
