Cedar Lane Psychotherapy Services: Pamela Brewer
Pamela Brewer, Ph.D., LCSW-C, BCD is a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Social Psychologist with fifteen years experience as a clinical social worker, providing outpatient psychotherapy to adults. Dr. Brewer has worked with such issues as depression, domestic violence, sexual harassment, men’s and women’s issues.
Dr. Brewer extends her relationship and mental health expertise to hosting a weekly radio show, monthly commentary for a local television station, monthly commentary for an on line psychological site and a live chat.

Cedar Lane Psychotherapy Services: Ellen Levin
Ellen Levin, DSW, LCSW-C, BCD is a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years experience working with children and their parents. Dr. Levin also works with individual adults and couples focusing on the ways the couple would like for things to be different in their lives.
Dr. Levin is an experienced forensic evaluator which includes child, adolescent, family and substance abuse assessments. Dr. Levin is available to evaluate clinical material for legal professionals and is a skilled trainer in forensic evaluation procedures.

Insurance
Because of our commitment to client - driven, confidential services, Cedar Lane Psychotherapy Services Inc. does not participate in any managed mental health insurance options. When managed care was first introduced, HMO insurances were the only managed products. This has changed. Now, both HMO, PPO, POS, and out - of network products may be managed.
You are encouraged to check with your insurance company to determine the details of your coverage. If you has a POS plan or out-of network option, you have the option to use the provider of your choice. There are also instances when your HMO or PPO benefits may include an out of network benefit, which means your insurance will allow you to work with a non-network provider. It is in your best interest to obtain as much detailed information as you can from your employer and insurance provider.
Your ability to use your insurance with Cedar Lane Psychotherapy Services Inc. is determined by the insurance you have and your specific benefit within that insurance plan.
Please remember that when you make a decision about your insurance - it should be based on your overall medical and mental health needs and not on an individual provider.
Make an Appointment
The nature of this practice is such that it can not accommodate walk-in clients. if you choose to come in without an appointment, dr. brewer will not be able to see you and you will not be able to secure any practice information.
Appointments are scheduled on the hour - you will need to come in 1/2 hour early for the first visit. it's important to note that visits will begin and end on time - so timeliness is important.
Whether you are scheduling an appointment or requesting information - an information packet will be sent to you via mail - so please provide a mailing address.
Be reminded that dr. brewer does not participate in any insurance networks - you are required to pay for the full fee at the beginning of the session- if you wish to access your insurance - you will need to contact them directly - and if they will reimburse you when you are working with an out of network provider - reimbursement will be sent to you directly.

receipts - after the first visit - can be given at each visit - however, the general office practice is to provide statements suitable for insurance submission at the end of the month.
